Accomplished writer, singer, actor and MC, Bain's credits include features with 60 Minutes, Fox News, The Village Voice, The Source Magazine, musical tours with Stephanie Mills, Be Be Winans, Malik Yoba, global appearances reaching Trinidad, Panama, Ghana and Germany. He has held his own on stages along side of artists such as Fabalous, Nas, Usher,The Roots, Jim Jones,.... K Bain has traverse his lyrical prowlness to other genres including R&B and Spoken Word where he has recorded with accomplished slam / spoken word poets such as the internationally acclaimed Bryonn Bain his brother and H'Allah Black
 
A founder of the grassroots organization Blackout Arts Collective, youth organizer for the Brooklyn college community partnership, Bain earned a B.A. in African Studies/Sociology, and a Masters in Urban Policy at Brooklyn College
